LINCOLN, RI – The Northern Rhode Island (NRI) Chamber of Commerce has several events taking place in March. Events are open to all members of the business community to connect with businesses in the region.

Chamber to Hold Networking at Night Event on March 9th

The Chamber will hold its March Networking at Night Event at B’z Breakfast Burgers & Beyond, 970 Douglas Pike in Smithfield on Monday, March 9th from 5- 7:00 p.m. Bring plenty of business cards for all the new contacts you will meet. B’z has become a favorite destination in the area. They feature unique fare offerings that include their famous B’z Belly Buster Challenge. Beverages and light fare will be served. Commerce Secretary to Speak at Chamber Breakfast

The Chamber’s next Eggs and Issues Breakfast is Wednesday, March 18th, 7:45 a.m. at the Kirkbrae Country Club, 197 Old River Road in Lincoln. Join us to hear Rhode Island’s new Commerce Secretary outline the beginning of a Plan for Economic Growth in Rhode Island.  Stefan Pryor is the first Secretary of Commerce in the history of Rhode Island. As such he we will chair the Commerce and Workforce Coordination Cabinet. The twelve departments that will participate in the cabinet include diverse departments like Economic Development, Transportation, Housing and Corrections. Business Before Hours at Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket

The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce will hold a Business Before Hours event on Thursday, March, 26th from 8:00 – 9:15 a.m.  at the newly renovated Clubhouse and Teen Center at the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket, One Moeller Place, Pawtucket. Come meet new clients while enjoying coffee and breakfast pastries. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new facility that was completed from start to finish in less than a year. Statewide Business-After-Hours

On March 31st, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., chambers of commerce from all over Rhode Island will come together for a profitable evening of networking at the Annual Statewide Business After Hours at Rhodes-on-the  Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston.  You will have the opportunity to network with 1000 business professionals and visit exhibition tables of chamber members from across the state.  A selection of mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres will be served by Russell Moring Fine Catering.
