Bridge Technical Talent’s E-Waste Drive
Our awesome community member’s annual e-waste drive aims to help reduce the amount of hazardous waste that ends up in our community landfills.  They’re partnering with Goodwill Industries to gather electronic waste and make sure it is disposed of properly.

Did You Know that…electronic waste is one of the fastest growing forms of waste?  It is estimated that this year we will generate 49.8 million tons of e-waste.  However, only about 15-20% f that will be recycled.

They’re accepting:
Computer laptops
CRT monitors
Flat screen monitors
Peripherals: keyboard, mice, etc…
Cassette and video tape recorders
Audio amplifiers and receivers
VCRs, CD and DVD players
Camcorders
Televisions
If you are unable to drop off your e-waste, please contact them so they can schedule a Bridge pick-up!  More info here.

Important North Kingstown ‘Special Vote’ next Tuesday, 4/24 for the ‘Old Library Project
If you are a North Kingstown resident, please take the time to learn about The Old Library Project and please come out to vote a week from tomorrow, Tuesday 4/24.  We cannot afford to properly keep up our historical building inventory in town and we cannot afford to let yet another beautiful building fall further into decay.  There is a fabulous project proposed to restore and reinvigorate the ‘Old Library’ on Brown St. in Wickford.  Here is the link to learn more!  Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions: tunischartner@gmail.com or call me at 401-996-7822, as you know…we’re kind of passionate about adaptive re-use of historical building inventory 😉 – just saying!
