Rhode Island’s Own Regency Cigar Bar to Host Triple Crown Party on June 6th!

EAST GREENWICH, RI – Rhode Island’s only premium cigar bar is hosting a free community event as American Pharoah contends to make horse racing history by attempting to win the Triple Crown on June 6th. Regency Cigar Bar will be providing food and the race on its crystal-clear televisions. Drink specials, including an American Pharoah signature themed cocktail, will be available during the event. Regency Cigar Bar is located adjacent to Regency Cigar Emporium and is Rhode Island’s largest prominent cigar retailer. Single and box cigar specials will also be made available during the event.

“There have only been eleven Triple Crown winners in horse racing dating back to the early nineteen hundreds. The last time a horse won the Triple Crown was in 1978, when Affirmed took the crown with jockey Steve Cauthen. With such a historic event within reach, we’re excited to not only show the race but throw a party in its honor,” said Michael Correia, Owner of Regency Cigar Bar and Regency Cigar Emporium.

Correia says Regency Cigar Bar is also going to feature its latest fine cigars line, which is God of Fire, at the Triple Crown party. Carlos Fuente, Sr. (aka Don Carlos) and his son, Carlito Fuente, blended the God of Fire cigars. “If American Pharoah does win the Triple Crown, there is no question that it will be the most exciting moment in sports in over thirty years, and there’s nothing like celebrating with a strong drink and a quality cigar. We will have single God of Fire products available at the bar for our attendees to purchase and enjoy.”

Members of the public may start arriving for the party at 4pm without reservations. Regency Cigar Bar offers an extensive bar menu with a mix of fine, specialty, and popular spirits. Members of the media are also being invited to attend the Triple Crown Party and viewing event by RSVPing in advance. Regency Cigar Bar is providing all-access credentials to qualified members of the press and their plus ones for this party. Complimentary cocktails, cigars, and a tour of both the emporium and the bar will be provided and in addition to reserved seating.
