Radio Veteran PATRICIA RASKIN Begins New Weekly Radio Program in November on South Coast’s WSAR

GREENWICH, RI – (October 26, 2012) Nationally recognized, award-winning producer, media coach, speaker and author, Patricia Raskin, of East Greenwich, RI, begins a new radio program – The Patricia Raskin Show – in the SouthCoast, Massachusetts market on WSAR 1480AM on Friday, November 2nd from 10am to noon.
Raskin’s show will be a weekly program featuring guests who will offer strategies and tips in the areas of health and wellness, lifestyle, fashion, and business. Listeners will be able to call in with questions for the guests featured. Local, regional and national individuals and businesses may be featured guests providing listeners with their advice and expertise.
Over the years, Raskin has interviewed hundreds of local experts, opening her interviews to caller questions, as a better way to serve her listening community. She has also brought interviews with famous individuals such as Jack Canfield, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Maya Angelou, Jane Seymour and recently Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary to the airwaves.
WSAR’s new General Manager is Paul Giammarco, formerly with Cumulus Radio in RI, who was also General Manager of WSAR in the past. Raskin will maintain her radio program on WPRO-AM630, which airs, live, every Saturday, from 3-5pm and WPRV-AM790 Business, which airs, live, every Friday from 3-5pm. Raskin also has radio programs on Blog Talk Radio and Voice America.
Raskin is the author of two books, Success, Your Dream and You and Pathfinding: 7 Principles for Positive Living, in addition to having written nearly 700 newspaper columns and producing and hosting over 500 television shows and documentaries. She speaks to groups throughout the country on the power of positive messaging for success.
