New High-Tech Truck Added to Promotion with Motion Fleet

COVENTRY, RI – Promotion With Motion, a Coventry, R.I.-based outdoor mobile advertising company established in 2010, announces it has added a new custom-built truck to its fleet of mobile advertising vehicles.

The 12’ long box-style truck is outfitted with a sophisticated media center and three large high-definition digital display screens fabricated with over 1 million ultra-bright (45,000 watts), 5mm LED pixels.  The screens offer full color, sound and video media capability.  Ads, content and AVI-formatted video can be uploaded and displayed spontaneously and viewed in direct sunlight without glare or distortion to deliver a highly visible, effective display.

Each screen can be used to display three separate images simultaneously, or the back screen (8’ w x 7’ h in size) can be joined with the side screen (12’ w x 7’ h) to create a 20’ wide viewing surface.  The screens are displayed as the truck is in motion, however video is reserved for when the truck is parked.

“Our trucks are changing the marketing dynamics of how promotional content is being delivered and received by consumers,” states Jeanne Evans, who co-owns the company with her husband Brian.  “By using our digital mobile technology, we can take messages to where the consumers are, and not require them to download or view it on a computer or phone.  This is an attractive marketing and communications tool for not only businesses and nonprofits, but also for ‘live’ events such as festivals, concerts, outdoor movies, trade shows and more.  We can take the message to the street – where the audiences are.”

The new truck’s ultra-bright high definition LED capability makes it unique to New England.  “There is no other truck like this, as the display is so clear and compares to the type of video billboard one might see in New York’s Times Square,” comments Brian Evans.  “It’s also compelling, very cost-effective and dynamic.”

Promotion With Motion currently works with dozens of businesses, Chambers of Commerce, and tourism organizations and has established partner relationships with Cox Communications, The Pawtucket Red Sox, CES Boxing, The Autism Project, Wendy’s and McDonald’s, among others.  The company has a custom-built pick-up truck outfitted with LED/LCD digital display screens, and also operates a stationary digital billboard on the Route 6/10 connector in Providence, R.I.
