Local Public Relations Society of America Chapter Now Accepting Submissions for ‘Excellence Awards’

PROVIDENCE, RI  – The Southeastern New England Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA/SENE) is calling for submissions for its 2013 Excellence Awards. Companies with measurable excellence in public relations and communications strategy, execution, or tactics are encouraged to apply. Early bird award submissions are due Monday, September 30, 2013. All entries are due Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

Now in its fourth year, the PRSA/SENE Excellence Awards recognize outstanding public relations tactics and campaign strategies across a spectrum of specialty areas, including community relations, crisis communications, B2B, and social media.

“As PR and communications professionals, we often champion the spotlight for our clients; we don’t often champion ourselves,” said Michael J. Cerio, President of PRSA/SENE. “PRSA/SENE is proud to announce our 2013 Excellence Awards program to serve as that opportunity – offering entrants not only a chance to be recognized in their industry field, but also to garner practical feedback from the program’s peer review process.”

The 2013 PRSA/SENE Excellence Awards competition is open to anyone in the communications or public relations fields in Southeastern New England. Companies of any size or industry discipline are encouraged to apply. Entries will be judged by industry professionals in fellow PRSA Chapters. Award entries will be scored based on research, planning, execution, and evaluation of the tactic or campaign.
