Gracie’s Star Chef Series presents Maria Helm Sinskey and Vintner Robert Sinskey, Monday, July 15

PROVIDENCE, RI  – Gracie’s Star Chef Series continues to shine. On Monday, July 15th, the restaurant welcomes Chef Maria Helm Sinskey and Vintner Robert Sinskey for their 4th Star Chef event.

Award-winning Chef Maria Helm Sinskey will collaborate with the culinary team at Gracie’s to create a seasonally-inspired menu showcasing the region’s freshest ingredients. The dinner will be paired with incredible organic wines from Robert Sinskey Vineyards.

Vintner Robert Sinskey is a native Californian and a wine guy who did not attend wine school. He believes that the goals of making luxuriously elegant wines and farming with earth friendly methods are not mutually exclusive. His wines are available for purchase at The Savory Grape.

Formerly the executive chef of PlumpJack Café in San Francisco, Star Chef Maria now provides culinary direction and cooking classes at Robert Sinskey Vineyards, the Napa Valley winery she owns with her husband. “Officially I am the culinary director,” Sinskey explained, “but I pretty much do it all. I specialize at the winery in pulling things from my garden and creating dishes that are harmonious with wine.”

“Great food comes from happy people,” said Executive Chef Matthew Varga, “Maria is just that – passionate, creative, laid back, and such a pleasure to work with in the kitchen. Her flavors are bright and her dishes remain true to the ingredients. She is a master of her craft.”

The evening will feature the simple yet sophisticated recipes that have made Maria Sinskey one of America’s most celebrated chefs and a culinary star. Though she lives in Napa Valley, Sinskey was born and raised in the Northeast, and her recipes capture seasonal flavors from both regions.

A very limited number of seats are still available for this memorable evening. Secure reservations by calling Gracie’s at (401)272-7811 or email Katie Kleyla at katie@graciesprov.com. Cost per guest is $125.00 plus tax and gratuity. Complimentary valet parking is available.
