Christine D’Orsi Fitta Named to Board of East Bay Center

BARRINGTON, RI – Christine D’Orsi Fitta, a partner with the Providence law firm of Higgins Cavanagh & Cooney LLP, was recently named to the board of directors of the East Bay Center Inc.

Based in East Providence and Barrington, this leading non-profit organization offers comprehensive psychiatric and counseling services to people who struggle with mental illness and substance abuse disorders. She was appointed at the recommendation of one of the members of the board based upon her prior employment in the mental health field.  The East Bay Center has been building healthy and caring relationships in the community for more than four decades.

Ms. Fitta represents major insurance companies, employers throughout the state, as well as national and international corporations on workers’ compensation cases.  She also advises corporate clients on issues involving Medicare compliance, and frequently addresses audiences of lawyers and insurance professionals on her areas of practice.
