BankNewport Announces VP and Branch Manager Appointment

NEWPORT, RI – BankNewport President and CEO, Sandra J. Pattie has announced the appointment of Paul J. Kloiber to vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Newport office located at 10 Washington Square.  He will be responsible for branch operations, business development, and staff development.

Kloiber comes to BankNewport from Citizens Bank, where he served as branch manager of the Newport office. He was formerly branch manager of the Jamestown office of Bank of America.

Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.  He is a member of the board of directors of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center and a member of the board of directors of Youth Pride, Inc., where he serves on their finance committee. Paul is a resident of Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
