Aquidneck Land Trust Celebrates 25 Years at Annual Fiesta Verde Event at Sweet Berry Farm on July 25, 2015

MIDDLETOWN, RI – Aquidneck Land Trust (ALT), dedicated to open spaces and natural character for the lasting benefit of the Aquidneck Island community, is excited to announce that the Fiesta Verde 2015 fundraiser will be held on July 25, 2015. This annual event, happening at Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown, RI, has become one of the most-anticipated summer bashes on Aquidneck Island. With a “Meet Me at the Fair” theme, a “turn of the century” fair, be prepared for an evening of celebration and stripes to recognize ALT’s 25th Anniversary!

Starting at 6pm, guests will enjoy a signature cocktail while strolling the “fairgrounds,” followed by a sumptuous menu provided by McGrath Clambake & Catering, featuring “farm fresh” ingredients and unique “fair food” with a gourmet twist. Music, dancing, a raffle, and a spirited silent auction of artwork, jewelry, gifts and get-away packages will have people celebrating into the evening.

“Fiesta Verde is a party we look forward to all year long and this year is even more special,” said ALT’s Executive Director, Chuck Allott. “We raise critical funds that support our organization during this event and we have a lot to celebrate! I hope you’ll join us as we recognize our work and Aquidneck Island’s commitment to our time-sensitive mission for ours and future generations.”

Tickets for Fiesta Verde 2015 are $200 per person. ALT is also offering a dessert and dancing ticket from 9pm-11pm that is $75 per person or $125 per couple. Tickets can be purchased through the ALT website:http://ailt.org/2015/03/fiesta-verde/.

In honor of ALT’s 25th Anniversary, you can save $25 on individual tickets on June 25th!  Any individual ticket purchased online or in the ALT Office on June 25th will cost $175 – a $25 savings for each year that ALT has been hard at work on Aquidneck Island!
ALT’s time-sensitive mission is to conserve Aquidneck Island’s open spaces and natural character for the lasting benefit of our community. The organization has conserved 2519.49 acres on 73 properties across Aquidneck Island since its founding in 1990. ALT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and the first land trust in Rhode Island to have received national accreditation.
