Exploration Center and Aquarium celebrates the Halloween Season with Spooky Aquarium

PROVIDENCE, RI – Families looking for some fun this Halloween season don’t need to look any further than Save The Bay’s “Spooky Aquarium” at the Exploration Center and Aquarium at Easton’s Beach Rotunda, 175 Memorial Boulevard in Newport RI. Spooky Aquarium runs 10 a.m.–4 p.m. on October 23–25 and October 30–November 1.

“This is a great time of the year to visit the aquarium, the beach is far less crowded than in the summer, probably because our spooky aquarium has scared away all the tourists,” jokes Adam Kovarsky, Save The Bay’s exploration center manager.

The only mildly terrifying, decorated aquarium is suitable for visitors of all ages, who’ll encounter such “ancient sea monsters” as ominous octopus, ghoulish sharks, scary skates, and many new animals just in from Save The Bay’s fall collection trips. Kids can also enjoy a scavenger hunt, story time and daily critter feedings.

Kids wearing their Halloween costumes will receive $1 off of the $8 general aquarium admission. For more information, visit https://www.savebay.org/aquarium or call 401-324-6020.
