PROVIDENCE, RI- The Providence Speaking Society is proud to announce the 4th Annual TEDxProvidence. This event will take place on Saturday, May 2 at the Columbus Theater from 9 a.m. -4 p.m. Tickets are available at the Columbus Theatre and online atEventbrite. Nominations have been extended through Thursday March 12th, 2015.
Since 2011, TEDxProvidence has convened more than 1,500 individuals and organizations to celebrate Rhode Island and “ideas worth spreading” through a daylong event featuring distinguished members of the community. This year’s themes,Entertainment, Finance and Environment, encompass a wide range of disciplines in the performing arts, philanthropy, technology, academia, banking, government, and beyond.
“TEDxProvidence showcases both emerging and known leaders and brings together a diverse group of people to cross pollinate ideas. We are excited that the Entertainmenttheme will be hosted at the Columbus Theater. Attendees can expect both an inspiring speaker lineup and incredible performances,” said Caroline Mailloux, Board Member, Providence Speaking Society.
