Announcing the Second Cohort of 10,000 Small Businesses at CCRI, Winter 2017
We are currently accepting applications from Rhode Island small business owners for a Winter 2017 Cohort of 10,000 Small Businesses at CCRI, with an application deadline of October 4th, 2016.
Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a world class entrepreneurship education program that provides small business owners with the opportunity to step away from day-to-day operations and focus on growth. In professional workshops over 12 weeks, business owners will gain practical skills in topics such as negotiation, marketing and employee management that can immediately be put into action.
We look for applicants who are passionate about growing their business and creating jobs in their communities, and generally meet these criteria:
- owner or co-owner of a business
- business in operation at least 2 years
- business revenues of at least $100,000 for the most recent fiscal year
- minimum of 2 employees (including the owner)
Babson College, ranked #1 in Entrepreneurship Education by US News and World Report, developed the curriculum for the program and all business owners graduate with a customized 5-year strategic growth plan for their business. There is no cost to apply, and all accepted business owners receive a full scholarship to participate.
