David “Big Papi” Ortiz, a Boston Red Sox legend, will be the featured guest speaker at the Providence Journal’s Rhode Island All-State High School Sports Awards Banquet, June 21 at the RI Convention Center. The event celebrates the accomplishments of over 600 All-State athletes in 29 sports from across the State and will honor the overall male and female athletes of the year in each sport. First and second-team All-State athletes attend the event for free and it is open to family, friends and the general public.
