NEWPORT, RI – ‘Tis the season to “Shop Small,” “Think Local,” and give the gift of ART! The Newport Gallery Organization will be hosting December Newport Gallery Night on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. This upcoming Newport Galleries Night is the perfect opportunity to get in the holiday spirit! It is also the second Thursday night shopping event for the Cities by the Sea Holiday Shop & Stroll.
The highlights of the December Newport Gallery Night include: DeBlois Gallery hosting their annual Holiday Fine Arts & Crafts show, Egg & Dart with 50 Artisan Made Gifts under $50, Bailey Art Gallery‘s new Holiday Shopping Boutique featuring original art and crafts by local artists all priced lower than $100, Spring Bull Gallery‘s Annual Les Petites Oevres Show and the list goes on.
After visiting any of the participating galleries, museums, and cultural institutions, make a night of it by picking up a restaurant discount coupon and stopping by one of the 16 participating restaurants for a special! In addition, check out the many other businesses participating in the Cities by the Sea Holiday Shop & Stroll.
