BoldrDash Announces Upcoming Events of Mountainous Proportions

EXETER, RI – BoldrDash, Rhode Island’s premier Obstacle Course Race (OCR) Series, has quickly become one of the state’s most sought after events. Besides its two popular annual events, BoldrDash has begun adding several smaller, kid-friendly events throughout the year, to meet the overwhelming demand for more opportunities to face its dozens of formidable challenges. The next one is right around the corner: On August 9 from 10am 2pm. BoldrDash is hosting an all-new BoldrDash Kids Outing Event at Yawgoo Valley Ski and Sport. The day features tons of fun, including a .5 – 2 mile kids/family course and one hour on the Yawgoo Valley Water Slide.

This fall brings the largest BoldrDash ever: the 5th annual two-day mud event at Yawgoo Valley Ski and Sport, on Oct 3 and 4. Vastly different than the annual beach event, which BoldrDash held last May at Scarborough State Beach, and much more intense than the August event, the annual fall BoldrDash presents a muddy challenge of mountainous proportions. The course features annual favorites – like a 200-ft-long slip and slide that hurls racers down the mountain and the deceiving difficult Tire Hurdles. In addition, every course has new surprises in store with 3-4 miles and 25-30 fun, challenging and unique obstacles.

With more obstacles and less focus on running than typical OCRs, BoldrDash offers a uniquely exciting and inventive course. Founder and personal trainer, Lynn Hall, assembles a team of designers for each event to unveil new challenges and to creatively incorporate various levels of difficulty to challenge people of all ages, shapes, and physical abilities.  Whether swinging on ropes, scaling walls, jumping over huge tires, or crawling through mud, BoldrDashers all have one thing in common – a sense of camaraderie and accomplishment.

BoldrDash truly has something for everyone – from beginners to our elite racers, from kids to 70+ yr old Dashers, to the new, All Abilities Team, which encourages anyone and everyone of all abilities to join them,” says Hall. “Our community has really grown. You simply can’t beat the energy of our Dashers.”

In addition to her Sunday morning bootcamps, Hall will be hosting private and corporate team-building bootcamps at Yawgoo throughout the summer. Events include one-hour bootcamp and a half-hour 1-mile practice course.
