Washington Trust & I LUV RI Partner with Confreda Farms Rhode Island Corn MAiZE Celebrates Farm’s 90th Year

WESTERLY, RI – (October 2, 2012) Washington Trust recently announced its partnership with Confreda Farms to help the farm celebrate its 90th Anniversary with a Rhode Island Corn Maize that’s part of the Bank’s I Luv RI campaign.  The MAiZE, which opened on September 15, is a 10-foot-high labyrinth carved out of a cornfield the size of 6 football fields, and its design incorporates the state of Rhode Island and Confreda’s 90th anniversary.

As one of Washington Trust’s signature I Luv RI events, Rhode Islanders will have the opportunity to win tickets to the Maize.  In addition, Washington Trust and Confreda Farms will be holding an I Luv RI Day on Saturday October 6, 2012 from 12:00-4:00 PM with raffle prizes and giveaways.
