Unique Townhouses on Rhode Island’s Coast Ready for Occupancy

NARRAGANSETT, RI – Located in the heart of Narragansett Pier, four new townhouses named the Rockland Cottages, are currently holding tours for prospective buyers. Minutes from the ocean, local pubs, restaurants and historic landmarks, this new development stands out among others in Rhode Island.

Co-designed by Union Studio Architects, John C. Carter & Company, and DiPrete Engineering, this new neighborhood pulls out all the stops. Each of the four double story units includes open floor plans, two or three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a garage.

The coastal community, which was constructed by Worden’s Pond Builders, includes courtyard entrances and beautiful landscaping to be viewed from a private back patio or front porch that overlooks the design.

“Our goal was to create an in-town community in the heart of Narragansett Pier that was within walking distance to the pier village, towers and beach. At the same time we wanted privacy, a cozy little neighborhood, and beautiful homes.” said Tony Fiore, Developer at Worden’s Pond Builders. “We couldn’t be happier with the result.”

With approval granted by the Town of Narragansett Zoning and Planning Boards, DiPrete Engineering provided surveying, engineering design, and permitting to the site.

“These new cottages and their neighborhood layout are a rare find so close to the ocean,” said Dennis DiPrete, Principal at DiPrete Engineering. “We were thrilled to work on the project and help Fiore meet its goals.”

The units are located in a quiet New England Victorian neighborhood with a wooded boundary for privacy.

“Everything about the Rockland Cottages is charming,” said Fiore. “We encourage everyone to come by and take a tour of this amazing addition to Southern Rhode Island.”
