The Rhode Island Health Care Association Installs 2013 Officers

Scott M. Sanborn Named 2013 Chair

Warwick, RI, January 28, 2013…Scott M. Sanborn, Administrator of Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pawtucket, has been installed as Chair of the Rhode Island Health Care Association (RIHCA), the state’s largest professional organization of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. He will serve in the position for a two-year term.

Sanborn, a 40-year veteran of long term care, is a past recipient of the Administrator of the Year award in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Under his leadership, Oak Hill earned the coveted Bronze and Silver Quality Awards from the American Health Care Association which recognize a demonstrated commitment to ongoing quality care. Oak Hill is one of only five Rhode Island facilities to win the national Silver Award.

Sanborn received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island. He resides with his wife Susan in Scituate, Rhode Island and has three children, Christian, Elena and Ian.
