Students looking for that perfect dress can find it free at Blackstone Valley Advocacy Centers Say Yes to the Prom Dress two-day event, where attendees can select from an assortment of beautiful gowns. Participants will also receive a complimentary certificate to rent a tuxedo at a discount only $65! from Victor’s Limited on 786 Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket. Mary Kay will be present at the event to provide beauty tips and samples, while representatives from Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center, Pawtucket Prevention Coalition, and Progreso Latino will also be on hand, making their educational resources available to community members and speaking with students about healthy relationship behaviors.
No student will be turned away! Those interested in attending should contact Blackstone Valley Advocacy Center at 401-723-3057 for more information, or simply head over to the Woodlawn Community Center in Pawtucket on April 23 and 24 to find the perfect dress and make this years prom night one to remember!
