“St. John’s Park is an ideal location for hosting a celebration, cookout, birthday party, charity event, or outing by individuals or businesses,” says Bob D’Uva, president, Federal Hill Commerce Association. “The park is located in the heart of Federal Hill on Atwells Avenue, one of the busiest streets in the state. There’s always something going on there. St. John’s is also a great venue for fundraisers for kid’s activities, too.”

The rental fee for using the park is $150 for each four-hour period or portion of a four-hour period on weekend days and weekend evenings, and $100 for every four-hour period or portion of a four-hour period on weekdays and weekday evenings. A security deposit of $100 is also required. The FHCA controls use of the park through an agreement with Providence’s Parks Department.

Renters are responsible for program participants while in St. John’s Park. They are also responsible for any injury to a person or property or loss of or damage to property and theft of personal property during the rental period. The FHCA retains the right to evict objectionable persons from the premises. No alcohol can be served unless provided by and served by a licensed and insured Rhode Island vendor.

The Federal Hill Commerce Association is composed of Federal Hill’s most prominent businesses. The Association provides a unified voice for businesses on Federal Hill and promotes the advancement of local businesses.
