Chef Kaitlyn Roberts, founder & owner of Easy Entertaining Inc. and Jessica Granatiero, proprietor of The Savory Grape, invite you on the luxury Italian tour of a lifetime! For the second year in a row the expert food and wine duo have created a “Savoring Italy” tour of Tuscany that promises to be an insider’s guide of the best vineyards and eateries in Italy.  Guests are invited to eat and drink their way though Tuscany for six nights and five days in October, while staying at Villa Daniela Grossi.

The sellout success of the last year’s tour prompted the women to once again join together to give guests a tour of a lifetime.  “I am thrilled to have coordinated and organized our second Savoring Italy experience with my friend and business acquaintance Kait Roberts, owner and chef of Easy Entertaining. Our inaugural trip in 2013 was a great success. Our trips give clients an insider’s experience to vineyard families and food experiences based on our relationships and knowledge of the areas. This is definitely a trip for the wine and food aficionado” says Granatiero.

The six night, six-city tour will start on October 5, 2014. Guests will arrive at the Villa Daniella Grossi, a restored 17th century luxury villa located in the hills of Lucca. Chef Kait and Jessica will greet guests with a welcome wine and a sampling of Tuscan cheese. Following the tasting, guests will be treated to a traditional Tuscan welcome dinner and each morning, a delectable breakfast will be prepared by Chef Roberts. Each day guests will board a luxury coach; visiting, touring, and tasting at four exclusive Tuscan vineyards guided by Granatiero. In the afternoon guests will return to a private Villa to enjoy hands-on cooking and wine pairing lessons from Roberts and Granatiero.  At night guests will dine on five gourmet dinners including three at the villa with custom wine pairings, two off-site in the city of Lucca and one in Florence paired with wine. Trip highlights include one hands-on cooking lesson featuring homemade pasta & ravioli, three hands-on wine pairing lessons including a vertical Brunello tasting led by Jessica Granatiero and an authentic tasting tour of Bistecca alla Fiorentina.

The experience of both women will provide a tour of Tuscany that promises not to disappoint–both women are experts in the Gourmet tastes of Tuscany. Granatiero has been recognized by the WSJ, Wine Spectator and RI Monthly’s best wine shop award from 2006-2012.  Roberts completed her culinary training in Tuscany, speaks fluent Italian and returns frequently to lead educated tours in hands-on, one-of-a-kind experiences.  Members of last year’s tour said, “This past October we traveled with The Savory Grape and Easy Entertaining on their Tuscany trip.
