Secretary of State Mollis Hires Director of Communications

PROVIDENCE, RI – Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis has hired Raina Smith to serve as Director of Communications for the Office of Secretary of State.
“Smith brings with her a wealth of communications, broadcasting, writing and creative experience to the role of Director of Communications,” said Mollis. “We are pleased to have her aboard and look forward to working openly with the media and our constituents to further our mission of keeping government transparent, making it easier to vote and open a business here in the state of Rhode Island.
Smith is a familiar face in the broadcasting industry here in the Providence market. A former news reporter and radio talk show co-host and executive producer, as well as an author of a self-published novel, Smith is well equipped to handle the role of Director of Communications.
