SBANE Presents “Higher Education’s Contribution to Rhode Island’s Economic Growth”

WALTHAM, MA – The Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE) is hosting their monthly Rhode Island Breakfast Series event on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, entitled Higher Education’s Contribution to Rhode Island’s Economic Growth, with Nancy Carriuolo as the guest speaker. The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Warwick, RI from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM.

Dr. Nancy Carriuolo, President of Rhode Island College (RIC), joins SBANE for a presentation on RIC’s contribution to the economic growth of Rhode Island. Dr. Carriuolo’s background with education stems from her involvement with the Journal of Developmental Education, the New England Dollars for Scholars, and the Rhode Island Office of Higher Education. Dr. Carriuolo has been named, “Rhode Island’s Woman of the Year” by GoLocalProv due to her valuable role on Brown University and URI’s South Street Landing redevelopment project.
