SBA Celebrates National Veterans Small Business Week with 3 Free Events for Vets

National Veterans Small Business Week is observed from November 4 – 9th, 2019

Providence, RI –Each year the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) celebrates, connects, and empowers service members during National Veterans Small Business Week (NVSBW). 2019 marks the sixth annual NVSBW and, to better serve the veteran and military-owned small business community, the SBA is holding three free events.

“National Veterans Small Business Week gives the SBA an opportunity to honor and highlight the excellence amongst the veteran small business community,” said SBA District Director Mark S. Hayward. “Shining a light on the incredible people of our military, and their inspirational stories while ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed is an essential part in the SBA mission of ‘serving those who served us’,” he added.

The theme of this year NVSBW is Mission #VetBiz Success, where the SBA will highlight the tools and resources used to help veterans on their journey to small business success. Whether just getting starting, or expanding to new locations, the SBA can support in every aspect of small business success.  Join the SBA, its resources partners, and other organizations as we celebrate the veteran and military-owned business community with the following events:
