RI Association of REALTORS® Announces 2012 RI REALTOR of the Year

November 23, 2012, Warwick, RI – The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) has announced that Susan Stamford of RE/Max Town and Country in Cumberland, was chosen by her peers as the 2012 Rhode Island Realtor of the Year. The award recognizes one of more than 4000 Realtors throughout Rhode Island for their dedication to the Realtor organization and their local communities. The statewide winner is chosen from the winners of five regional Realtor of the Year awards.

Stamford, a two-time winner of the Realtor of the Year Award from the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors, is the President of State-Wide Multiple Listing Service (MLS). She has also served as President of the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors and served on numerous committees and task forces at the local and state level. A pre-license instructor for the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Career Development Center, Stamford is a resident of Albion, Rhode Island and has two children, Paul Koch and Michelle Earle. She is also the proud grandmother of four.

Other candidates for the RI Realtor of the Year award included Michelle Drum of Gustave White Sotheby’s International Realty in Newport, Donna Andrews of Prudential Gammons Realty in East Greenwich; Jeffrey Butler of Butler Realty Group in Warwick; and Cely O’Brien of Randall, REALTORS Real Living in Charlestown.
