Randall Family of Companies Ranks Among Top U.S. Real Estate Firms

CHARLESTOWN, RI – The Randall Family of Companies, has made the REAL Trends 500 list which ranks the nation’s top residential real estate companies.  The Randall Family of Companies, which includes Randall, REALTORS, Kinlin Grover and Page Taft, ranked number 134 in sales volume with more than $1.1 billion in sales last year and number 214 in sales activity with 2874 closed transaction sides in 2013.  Last year marked the second consecutive year that the company achieved more than $1 billion in sales.

The 2014 REAL Trends 500 is a compilation of a nationwide study of leading residential real estate companies.  The study is conducted by REAL Trends, a research, publishing and communication company located in Denver serving the information needs of the residential real estate industry.  This year’s survey represents the most comprehensive collection of data assembled on the leaders of the residential brokerage industry.  Numbers are documented by outside accounting firms.

According to REAL Trends, the 500 largest residential real estate brokerage firms in the nation controlled just over 2 million residential sales transactions in 2013.  The transactions represent close to 32.6 percent of all new and resale transactions completed by brokers during the year, yet the REAL Trends 500 represented less than three-fifths of one percent of all brokerage firms.  The 500 ranked brokers closed 2,577,483 home transactions with a value of over $767 billion during 2013 up from $624 billion in calendar year 2012.

“It’s an honor to once again be ranked among the top residential real estate companies in the country,” said Douglas Randall, CEO of the Randall Family of Companies.  “Our agents consistently earn top marks on customer satisfaction surveys.  Our growth is due to their efforts and the customer referrals that come as a result of their hard work.”
