available in Cranston cafe. Offer is not valid through the Drive-Thru. There is a limit to
one mug per customer and the customer must be present to receive the mug.)
“Our original Cranston location was the first Panera built in the state and the first
bakery-cafe operated by Panera franchise Howley Bread Group some 15 years ago,”
said Rob Bennett, General Manager of Panera Bread Cranston. “So, I encourage the
community to come on in and celebrate our anniversary with some free coffee and a
travel mug at our new, convenient location.” The new bakery-cafe is open Monday –
Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday
7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Like the original Panera cafe in Cranston, the new location is open for breakfast, lunch
and dinner and offers a variety of menu items, including breads and bagels, breakfast
sandwiches, creative lunch and dinner sandwiches, pastas, hand-tossed salads,
homemade soups and a variety of espresso beverages.
The Panera Bread Cranston location is one of eight bakery-cafes in Rhode Island owned
by Panera franchise, the Howley Bread Group, LTD of Lincoln, Rhode Island. The
company’s other Panera bakery-cafes in the state, which employ more than 500 people,
are located in East Greenwich, Lincoln, Newport, Providence, Smithfield, Wakefield and
Warwick. Howley Bread Group owns and operates a total of twenty-eight bakery-cafes
in Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts and Eastern Connecticut markets.
