Newport Interactive Marketers’ Free Presentation

NEWPORT, RI – Positive client relationships are key. Whether you’re a consultant or a hiring one, you won’t want to miss presenter John Picozzi’s tips to ensure your project is a success on Tuesday, Nov 18th from 6-9 p.m. at Midtown Oyster Bar located at 345 Thames St., Newport, R.I. Admission is free. Online registration is requested.

It would be wonderful if all web/media consultant relationships ended with great sites and honeymoons to Paris, but sometimes the reality isn’t so happily-ever-after. As a web developer and agency lead who’s worked with major brands like Marriott and CVS, Picozzi’s strategies will include advice on how to handle minor disagreements, a bad work dynamic, or just poor communication.

Sponsored by Designated Editor, the presentation will also discuss website development and management touching on such topic as: domain name, hosting, and files. This presentation will teach you all you need to know to keep both your website and your sanity intact.

Speaker John Picozzi is Oomph Inc.’s resident Drupal enthusiast, a co-podcaster, and adjunct professor in his spare time. John has done impressive work for CVS Caremark, Leica, BlueCross, and Marriott International. He not only understands client-side development; he teaches it. After receiving his B.A. Cum Laude in Web Development and Internet Commerce from Johnson & Wales University, he was invited back to mold young minds in the “Graphic Design & Digital Media” department. He can be heard weekly on the Talking Drupal podcast, a digital discussion on platform news, tips, and industry basics.
