CRANSTON, RI – Looking for the perfect fit in footwear? The wait is over! Garden City Center is pleased to announce that New Balance will be opening its first Rhode Island store in Garden City Center. The store will be located between Party City and Country Curtains, and will open in the Fall of 2015.

The 2,380 square foot store will carry everything from footwear in a wide range of sizes and widths, to a versatile offering of apparel and accessories. New Balance in Garden City Center will offer one-on-one attention with a specialized focus on the science of fitting. Whether it’s walking, running, or simply looking good, New Balance’s unique selection will help you meet your goals.

“The arrival of New Balance’s first and only Rhode Island store to Garden City Center brings a strong brand name with a loyal consumer following,” said Deb DiMeo, vice president of Leasing for The Wilder Companies, which manages Garden City Center.  “Garden City is a one stop shopping destination for fitness aficionados. They can get their gear from Lululemon Athletica and New Balance and then head over to L.A. Fitness for a workout. As we continue to expand Garden City Center, we are working to add unique retailers that our shoppers demand and that are exclusive to Garden City Center. New Balance fits those goals perfectly.”

“We are a family-owned New Balance licensee coming from Connecticut and are excited to have our newest location opening in Rhode Island,” said Michael Disibio, Board Certified Pedorthist and owner.  “Specializing in fit and service, we look forward to being part of the community supporting runners, walkers, and everything in between.”
