NetCenergy Names Carlos Tavares, Jr. Engineer, Continues to Recognize Talent and Promote from Within

WARWICK, RI- NetCenergy, the IT Solutions provider, today announced that Carlos Tavares, Jr, has been promoted to Engineer after three years with the company. In this new role, Carlos will be working with the engineering team on complex project work and technical support.

Shortly after graduating from New England Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Carlos joined NetCenergy as a Technician, focused on providing excellent customer service to clients while simultaneously delivering world class technical support in various capacities including onsite support, remote support, and working on larger projects as part of the technical team.

Aligned with NetCenergy’s support of workforce development initiatives, Carlos worked collaboratively with his supervisors to implement a Professional Development Plan, mapping his career goals with NetCenergy. Following this plan, Carlos began training in multiple areas of emerging technology to attain his goals, including earning necessary certifications and becoming proficient in Windows Server, Exchange Server, Network Administration, Cisco, Linux, Microsoft Office, VMware, and Manage Engine Solutions.
