NetCenergy Expands Team With Four Professionals

WARWICK, RI – NetCenergy, a Warwick-based IT services firm, today announced the addition of four highly experienced and skilled technicians and engineers to its team: Timothy Blaney, Chris Holmes, Greg Thoren, and Mariah Wasmuth.

TIMOTHY BLANEY assumes the role of the support desk manager. Blaney has over seven years’ experience in the IT industry working as a network operations technician, customer support analyst, and senior customer support analyst in with companies including national healthcare providers. Blaney has completed several Dell education courses and is A+ and PPT (level 3) Clarion Boot Camp certified. Blaney is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Nichols College in Dudley, MA and is a resident of Holliston, MA.

CHRIS HOLMES joins the NetCenergy team as a network engineer. He has nearly thirty years of experience in the IT industry and received much of his IT training in the United States Air Force. He is an Air Force veteran. Holmes has held positions as a technician, technical service manager, IT infrastructure manager, and network operations manager in verticals markets including finance, law and manufacturing. Holmes is well-versed in virtualization, virtual desktop infrastructure, server operations, and LAN technologies. He is a resident of North Smithfield, RI.

GREG THOREN is a network engineer with over ten years’ experience in the IT industry, working as a computer operator, PC technician, network manager, and network administrator in industries including healthcare and finance/banking. Thoran is A+, Network +, and MCP-certified and will test this month for his VCP. He has extensive server and virtualization experience and plans to get his Cisco CCENT certification in December. He is a graduate of Bristol Community College where he received an associate’s degree in computer science with a focus on networking in 2006. He is a resident of Fall River, MA.

MARIAH WASMUTH joins the NetCenergy team as a support desk technician. Wasmuth has three years’ experience in the United States Air Force as a cyber security spet and is studying to test for her CCNA certification. She received her technical training while serving in the Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS.  She will be part of the team that provides prompt and efficient service to NetCenergy customers. She is a resident of North Smithfield.
