NEWPORT, RI – Nankeen’s vivid and distinctive indigo dyeing technique may have been developed 3,000 years ago, but their new store at 421 Thames St in Newport RI sells a coveted selection of high quality unique bags and accessories with a contemporary twist.
You are invited to join owner Anne Page and Manager Melissa Deus-Manning in celebrating with a ribbon cutting ceremony on May 10th at 12:00pm for light refreshments and the chance to view the Nankeen collection of bags ranging from the smaller clutch to the larger weekend tote, belts and home accents in their bold and classic patterns, “flaunting an ageless and elegant nautical style”, says Ms. Page. In addition to the Nankeen collection, an assortment of locally designed hats, shirts, tabletop accessories and leather goods complement the Nankeen lifestyle.
