Members get the Chance to Meet with Governor Chafee at the next NRI Chamber Eggs & Issues Breakfast on February 28, 2013

Lincoln, Rhode Island:

The next NRI Chamber Eggs & Issues breakfast will welcome the Honorable Lincoln D. Chafee, Governor of the State of Rhode Island who will speak  about his proposed  budget. The event will take place on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 7:50 AM – 9:30 AM at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln.

Among the items  contained in the budget is a plan to reduce the corporate tax rate, invest in workforce development, education and infrastructure needs and hold the line on taxes. There are NO increases in taxes, fees or charges in the Governor’s plan.

As always after the presentation there will be an opportunity for attendees to ask the Governor questions on business issues.
