LOPCO awarded national ‘2013 Humanitarian of the Year’ by Painting and Decorating Contractors of America

PROVIDENCE, RI –  LOPCO Contracting, specializing in exterior painting, interior painting, and carpentry, today announced it has earned the national 2013 Humanitarian of the Year Award.

The award was presented by Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) at the 2013 Painting & Decorating Expo, PDCA’s premier national annual event, on March 5 in St. Louis. The awards program honors the best performances in the coatings application industry by individuals and contracting company members of PDCA.

The Humanitarian Award is presented in recognition of extraordinary compassionate contributions that may or may not be painting and decorating industry related. The Humanitarian Award recognizes benevolent acts of humanity that rise above daily business routines and family obligations, which are in alignment with PDCA ideals.

Tom Lopatosky is the President of LOPCO Contracting and has been painting residences in Rhode Island and Southern New England for the past nineteen years. Lopatosky started the business after noticing a demand for painting contractors who could offer professional services with high customer satisfaction in their overall painting experience.
