L’’Occitane Opens at Garden City Center

CRANSTON, RI -– A true beauty story from the South of France, L’Occitane en Provence, celebrated its grand opening in Garden City Center this week. Based in Manosque, France, L’Occitane has over 200 stores nationwide carrying skincare, fragrance, hair care and bath and body products created from natural ingredients and essential oils. 

As the first store in Rhode Island, the aromas of L’Occitane fragrances and nourishing lotions will fill a 1,435 square foot space between Mod Mama and Banana Republic. L’Occitane brings a unique product offering, not yet available in the Rhode Island market and we’re pleased that L’Occitane has chosen to open their only Rhode Island store in Garden City Center,” said Janice Pascone, marketing director of Garden City Center. Customers will find over 20 collections to meet their beauty needs such as Shea Butter, Verbena, Lavender and Almond. Products, catered to both men and women, will range from cleansers, toners and moisturizers, scrubs and masks, hand and foot creams, shampoos, shower gels, soaps and much, much more. 

For over 35 years, L’Occitane has been dedicated to creating natural beauty products based on traditional Provence techniques. The finest quality ingredients are sourced from all over the world, including Lavender, the iconic symbol and fragrance from the South of France and sourced from the fields of Provence, and Shea Butter from Burkina Faso, West Africa. 

Other ingredients include Peony, Rose, Cherry Blossom, Angelica and Immortelle. L’Occitane has store locations worldwide, and has created the L’Occitane Foundation that supports the visibly impaired and the economic emancipation of women in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
