Using the Internet to search for a local product or service is more common than many people realize. Here are some common myths about local search for business: “Nobody looks for my kind of business online.”  And, “I don’t need a website. I get my business through word of mouth.” Or, “I spent a lot of money for my website, but it never gets me any leads or customers.”
Michaela Kennedy will present quick tricks on how to get found quickly online, and why it really is important for your business. She will cover what local search is, how local businesses get ranked on Google, and four basic steps to use to get your business found in the search engines.
