Johnson & Wales University to Host Distinguished Visiting Professor, Hasbro’s NERF Design Director Brian Jablonski

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Johnson & Wales University (JWU) will welcome Brian Jablonski, Design Director at Hasbro, Inc, as the School of Engineering & Design’s Distinguished Visiting Professor on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 9:30 a.m.in the Admissions Presentation Room at The Yena Center on 111 Dorrance St., Providence.

Hasbro hired Jablonski as a design manager to reinvigorate the mainstay of the company in the 80’s:  the NERF products. Since then, the NERF trademark has been transformed into a Hasbro ‘Mega-Brand’ with annual sales growing over twenty times. Jablonski now leads a team of designers merging consumer insights, creativity and innovative ideas which continue to build the NERF brand’s success.
