Johnson & Wales University Presented Two Gold, One Bronze Medal from Collegiate Advertising Awards

PROVIDENCE, RI — Johnson &Wales University (JWU) was recently presented with three medals – two gold and one bronze –  from Collegiate Advertising Awards, an elite program designed to recognize todays most talented educational marketing professionals for outstanding excellence in advertising, marketing and promotion.

JWU was recognized for its new “Look Closer, Learn More” advertising and direct mail campaign developed for the Providence Campus graduate and Continuing Education programs. The campaign was a collaborative effort among the university’s marketing, admissions, design & editorial and continuing education departments, with support from the ad firm RedHouse.

All entries are judged by a panel of design and education marketing professionals. Entries are judged on: Creativity, Layout/Design, Typography, Production, Quality & Overall Effectiveness.

Greg DiStefano, a Cranston resident, is the executive director of University marketing, and Brian Murphy, the director of Design & Editorial, is a resident of Providence.
