Imaj Associates Wins Three Awards for Branding from International Academy of the Visual Arts

NEW YORK, NY – This week it was announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts that Imaj Associates, whose main office is located in Richmond, RI, took home three Communicator Awards. With over 6000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring the creative excellence for communications professionals.  The winners can be seen at http://www.imajassociates.com/imaj-takes-home-three-international-awards/.

A Gold Award of Excellence was awarded to Imaj for the branding and logo design of Nervous Lobster, a lobster bake company that serves RI, MA, and CT by creating authentic, New England-style, on-site clambakes.

“We just had to enter this one because we had so much fun creating it,” says Jami Ouellette, president and brand manager at Imaj Associates. “It’s not often we get to work with such a creative name and such a fun group of guys.”

The first of Two Silver Awards was won for the logo design for Integrated Assessment Services (IAS), a Cambridge-based clinic that offers the unique service of fully integrated emotional and cognitive assessments. The logo is designed to represent the integration, care and comfort provided by the long list of psychologists, neuropsychologists and psychoanalysts who staff the clinic. Imaj is also creating their new webpage and direct mailers announcing the new business model.

The second Silver was awarded for the rebranding of The Poverty Institute to The Economic Progress Institute, a name that better reflects the organization’s mission toward a vibrant economy with a skilled workforce and opportunities for upward mobility. Imaj developed a brand strategy, created the identity, and assisted with the launch and associated communications materials. “This year’s class of entries is a true reflection of the progressive and innovative nature of marketing and communications,” noted Linda Day, executive director of the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

“We are not only honored by these awards but are thrilled for our clients as well. A lot of work goes into branding on both the client side and the agency side. This is a great example of companies and agencies that have been determined to get their brands right,” adds Katie Schibler, Lead Project Manager and Associate at Imaj.
