IFP FILMS Names First Local Executive Producer

IFP Films (www.ifpfilms.com) a leading studio for independent and branded media creation for over 20 years today has announced the hiring of the first local Executive Producer, Michalina Scorzelli. Ms. Scorzelli will be tasked with deal flow, funding and sale of finished programs, along with social media presence. This initiative is the next step on IFP Films’ return to original programming as announced last month and that has been in the works for five months.

Michalina Scorzelli says: “No doubt about it IFP Films does things differently! In today’s always changing world I feel it is critical to always be looking for a better way and IFP Films has found one. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of such an established team.
It did not take me long after meeting with Bob to feel we had a similar vision, work ethic and way of doing business. The business system for film creation where there are multiple revenue platforms during production is brilliant.”

Founder and Creative Director, Bob Manasier states: “Our need to bring value-add to an established team was paramount. We did not want someone just to take a job. Passion, integrity and a ‘just do’ attitude were vital for this position and Michalina has demonstrated that and more during this process. We look forward to her adding the social media and revitalizing the website experience for our next slate of projects.”

Ms. Scorzelli has defined her immediate plans are creating a greater social media presence, outreach to network & to start a reality series for a writing project. She adds: “As a lifelong native of the Capital District, it has become my mission and passion to create and shoot work here. Let’s get going !
