HCC Partner Bill DeWitt Joins Branding Panel at Cape Cod Philanthropy Day

BARRINGTON, RI – HCC Marketing Partner Bill DeWitt will join a panel discussion on branding for non-profit organizations at the Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands Philanthropy Day 2013.

The panel discussion entitled Becoming a Storyteller: Why Branding Matters will be held at 10:30 a.m., November 13th at the Hyannis Resort and Conference Center. The panelists will discuss the need for effective, consistent, impactful messaging as donors become inundated with solicitations from a crowded sea of non-profits.

DeWitt will be joined by Julie Wake, Director of Communications and Development, Housing Assistance Corporation; Shawna Moos, Director of Communications, International Fund For Animal Welfare (IFAW); and Doug Bennett, President, Bennett Group.

DeWitt joined HCC Marketing in 2010. He is a advertising veteran with more than 20 years of both agency and client experience. He was a product manager at Fleet Financial Group, Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing Communications at Citizens Financial Group, and served as Senior Vice President/Director of Marketing at Bank Rhode Island. DeWitt also spent five years on the agency side with two of America’s leading advertising agencies, Arnold Worldwide and Deutsch.

DeWitt is the President of the New England Financial Marketing Association. He serves on the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, and as a consultant to the Barrington Adult Youth Team (Anti-Drug Task Force). He holds a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Duke University.
