Hasbro Children’s Hospital Nerf Ball to be Held on Saturday, March 5

Providence, RI – On Saturday, March 5, the Rhode Island Convention Center will come alive during a unique evening benefitting Hasbro Children’s Hospital when the hospital hosts the 2016 Nerf Ball. Members of the community are invited to join Hasbro Children’s Hospital leadership and physicians to raise funds for the area’s leading pediatric hospital. Tickets are currently on sale.

Serving as the largest annual fundraiser for Hasbro Children’s Hospital, the black tie event begins at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres reception. The evening continues with a delectable dinner and an exciting Live Auction presented by professional auctioneer Paul Zekos of The Zekos Group, and a “Fund-a-Need” fundraising blitz. A special performance by the award-winning Hasbro, Inc. band “Toys 2 Men” will take place at 10:00 p.m., followed by dessert and dancing until midnight.

Proceeds from the 2016 Nerf Ball will support The Fund for Hasbro Children’s Hospital and benefit patient care, innovative research and education at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, helping the hospital to provide the very best care to its patients and families. The Live Auction’s “Fund-a-Need” will support the Lawrence A. Aubin, Sr. Child Protection Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, which provides services for children who may have been victims of sexual, physical or emotional abuse or neglect. The Center hosts New England’s only fellowship program in child abuse pediatrics.
