GWB to Release Innovative Partnerships RFP in April

CRANSTON, RI – The Governor’s Workforce Board (GWB) will soon be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a second round of funding of up to $1.75 million to support Innovative Partnerships between employer(s) and education & training provider(s) that will provide work-readiness, skills training, experiential learning, career pathways, and jobs to students, out-of-school youth, and unemployed or under-employed adults.

Potential applicants are advised to begin developing possible strategies and partnerships in anticipation of a mid-May deadline.  Watch the GWB website for the release of the Innovative Partnerships RFP.

The GWB awarded its first round of Innovative Partnership grants in April, 2013.
