Glee Gum Donates over 50,000 Samples this Halloween Season

PROVIDENCE, RI –  Verve, Inc., the producer of Glee Gum, is proud to provide more than 50,000 free samples of its natural chewing gum to family-friendly events nationwide this month. From fall harvest festivals to Halloween celebrations at stores, zoos, and aquariums, Glee Gum will be plentiful as a healthier, eco-friendlier alternative to mainstream treats.

Over 75% of Americans plan to give candy to trick-or-treaters this year, with retail sales of Halloween candy projected to reach $2.6 billion in the U.S. this year, according to a recent survey by the National Confectioners Association. While most conventional gum and candy contain artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, and preservatives, Glee Gum is instead made with natural, Non-GMO Project Verified ingredients and chicle, a tree sap harvested sustainably to help conserve the rainforest. In lieu of blister packs, it’s packaged in recycled cardboard. And it’s the only gum on the market to be Fair Trade certified.
