Galilee Sunset Selected as June “I Luv RI” Photo Contest Winner

WESTERLY, RI — Washington Trust today announced Victoria Dority of Peace Dale, Rhode Island as the photo contest winner of I Luv RI’s “Favorite Rhode Island Sunrise/Sunset Location theme. Her photo, “FV Shelby Ann,” taken off the rocks of Galilee, Rhode Island, shows a fishing boat illuminated by a deep orange sunset. The photo appears in the June issue of RI Monthly magazine.

“One of my favorite places to catch sunsets is Galilee,” said Dority, “There is something so relaxing about the boats gliding in and out of the channel, and the scenery is different every day.”
