FOSTERINGARTS TO PRESENT “BOOKS AND THE BOTTOMLESS BOWL: AN EVENING WITH LOCAL AUTHORS” FUNDRAISER

FOSTER, RI — FosteringArts announces that it will present a fundraiser, “Books and the Bottomless Bowl: An Evening with Local Authors” on Saturday, February 23rd at 6 p.m. at the South Foster Fire Station, 5 Mount Hygeia Road, in Foster.

The evening will feature a dinner of savory homemade soups, breads and desserts as well as the opportunity to meet and hear from several local, published writers from the Association of Rhode Island Authors. Each of the participating authors will speak briefly about their writing, inspirations, and may read passages from their works. Participating authors include Dee Eaton (mystery), Steven R. Porter (contemporary fiction), Ray Wolf (history), Carol Desforges (romance), Jo-Anne Petrie DeGiacomo Petrie (children’s), Erin T. Whalen (children’s), and Cris Pfeil (inspirational fiction) and others.

All proceeds from the event will be used to support the programs and mission of FosteringArts.

Tickets for “Books and the Bottomless Bowl…” are only $10 and available online at the FosteringArts website, www.FosteringArts.org. Seating is limited. Remaining tickets may be available at the door.

Books from all participating authors will be for sale at the event, and authors will be available to meet with readers and personalize copies.
