Welcome Back School and Home School Teachers!
It is time to reserve your seats for the State Ballet of Rhode Island’s Project Ballet in Education Performance of Coppélia, the enchanting story of the dancing doll. At this special 10 AM performance, on Friday, December 20th, Artistic Director Herci Marsden will guide students through a special dress rehearsal performance explaining the music, the staging, the physical training of the dancers, and fun facts about the ballet. Patrons are also encouraged to ask questions about the performance and ballet — an educational opportunity that can be integrated into any curriculum. The regular ticket price for our evening and matinee performances are $30 for adults and $16 for children 12 and under. However, thanks to our generous Project Ballet sponsors, including RI State Council on the Arts, Rhode Island PBS, Asia Grille, and Cardi’s Furniture, we are able to offer this program to you at a reduced ticket rate! For more detailed information about our Project Ballet in Education Performance, click here.
