The Ocean State Business Expo was created by Jay White of Uncle Jay’s Networking and held the first annual in September 2009. DiscoverYou Events and owner Susan Lataille became a partner in 2011. In 2019 Rick Lataille from WRIK Entertainment joins forces with Susan to make the 11th annual expo better than ever!
The focus is on the local business community looking for the opportunity to meet other local professionals to connect, build relationships and exchange ideas whether they participate as an exhibitor or attendee. Business is always built on last relationships. Meeting in a face-to-face atmosphere has proven to cut down on the marketing time. People know instantly whether or not there’s a connection.
