This presentation covers the issue of sexual exploitation and human trafficking, mostly of young girls and boys in Rhode Island.

Brief Bio: Ms DeCataldo received her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with concentrations in psychology and sociology from Johnson & Wales University. She is the Legal Advocacy Services Coordinator for Day One, Rhode Island’s sexual assault and trauma center. She coordinates the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) in collaboration with Rhode Island police and the RI Department of the Attorney General. She has been a member of and a certified trainer for the Statewide Law Enforcement Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault Training Curriculum Committee since 2004.
